MSP Member Project Highlights

With the support and expertise of Multi-State Partnership (MSP) members, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) has completed its 2024-2026 NADPRP Project and built the Agriculture Incident Safety Officer (AGI-SOFR) Training Program for state departments of agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This curriculum provides a consistent training program that can be utilized across the country to build a cadre of new and/or better-equipped safety

The Center for Food Security and Public Health at Iowa State University announced the release of new biosecurity materials for land-based aquaculture farms. This project, funded through the USDA NADPRP program, provides tools to help land-based aquaculture farms and hatcheries to identify and reduce the risk of disease transmission to improve biosecurity. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry with funding through the USDA NADPRP program has launched a Secure Food Supply Internship Program in collaboration with Oklahoma Livestock Producers and Oklahoma Community Colleges. This program provides students an opportunity to work with producers to help them develop Secure Food Supply Plans for their operations.
